Just like Star Wars
Dang, you just gotta love that music. Starts off suspenseful and intriguing, then as the scene progresses it gets more and more and more and MORE ominous as Mr. Incredible experiences the ever-growing horror of realizing how many supers Syndrome has killed and what he has planned next. And then, of course, all hell breaks loose musically as he's discovered and shot at by those horrifying sticky ball machine guns.
No joke, I think this music would be right at home in a horror movie. Like the Red Room scene in Lockwood and Co., or some scene where the characters are investigating the history of some tragic event at the site where it happened, finding more and more disturbing clues until they realize that the main villain/ghost of the victim/monster is right there with them and it starts terrorizing them.
They could of done this in the international versions but this is just dumb.
That must have been quite a shock for Mr. Incredible to find out that almost every superhero in existence was killed in the process of Syndrome training his robot.
This pretty much captures what this moment feels like in real life
And to realize it still goes on
Love the music in this scene especially
Is it possible that the Omnidroid 6,7, and 8 are all the same Omnidroid? Simply that the 6 was upgraded into the 7 with an extra leg then the 8 with a bottom sensor cluster? I think it also explains why it looks like the 8 has burn marks. Maybe from Gamma Jack’s radiation bursts.
Also, is it even known what happened to the 9? I do know it was a basis for the 10, but it’s a mystery what happened to the 9
I'm gonna be honest with y'all, I never knew there was a red cross until now
Tigre 6206 (Presencial)
My DVD and on Disney+ is not with a TERMINATED on White with red background, is a big red slash, because i'm Mexican and my mother language is Spanish (Neutral)
The music is amazing. Its SHOULD have been, together with Team America, nominated for an Oscar for Best Musical Score. 💙
Actually both has their share
- Old one has the terminated status
- New one has the globe status
i just learned from a deleted scene in the second movie, that Gazerbeam had more than just "laser vision"... he could also see the smallest of details, and see through walls... which explains how he got the password to the computer in the first movie.
Me gustaría una versión que diga "Terminated" y tenga el globo terráqueo.
How lame. Kids can't even know what death is nowadays
In the Finnish DVD version it had the crossing lines without text but I think the last one (Mr. Incredible) had a text terminated for some reason. I might be wrong.
Still the darkest and eeriest Pixar scene ever.
Imagine if this happened in your own field. Your compassionate peers... all picked off, targeted, eliminated because of who they were by a psychopath (or a few)
I like “TERMINATED” more, but to be honest, it makes more sense that Mr. Incredible takes a moment to have that “oh shit?!” Feeling. As if he didn’t realize what the red cross was meaning at first.
